I'm honored and beyond excited to be part of the Good vs. Evil! show at WonderGround Gallery in Downtown Disneyland. Here's a look at one of my paintings "Gentle Companion" inspired by Beauty and the Beast. I was also given the opportunity to make piece paying Tribute to Mickey Mouse.
WonderGround Gallery is currently showcasing artwork inspired by Good vs. Evil films, characters and icons. If you get a chance to visit Disneyland go see, Good vs. Evil, at WonderGround Gallery in the Downtown Disney® District at the Disneyland® Resort in Anaheim, CA.
"Gentle Companion" Acrylic on wood, 24 x 30 inches.
The enchanting story of Belle and the Beast has always been one of my favorites and a timeless inspiration. I wanted to depict Belle sharing a serene moment with the beast. A moment that sees through the beasts angry facade and captures his true kindness as Belle finds comfort in his presence.
Dreaming of Happiness, Acrylic on wood, 16 x 20 inches.
I wanted to portray a classic version of Mickey surrounded by a vine of flowers and blossoms. "Dreaming of Happiness" is inspired by the beautiful elegance of nature and the delicate relationship we have with it. Taking a moment to stop and smell the flowers can possibly bring happiness to your day.
